Alexandra Candler holds a PhD in Jungian and Archetypal psychology, the field of psychology that approaches the unconscious. She wrote her dissertation on Spellcraft as an Alchemical Practice which explores the psychological aspects of how Spellcraft works, how to practice Spellcraft as Alchemy, and bringing a spiritual and physical practice together in a divine partnership with Nature. Before entering her doctoral work Alexandra trained for five years as a Usui and Karuna Reiki Master Teacher. She is a seventh generation Usui Reiki Master, the branch of Reiki which in Japan is referred to as Usui touch. Her undergraduate work in Cultural Anthropology led to a study of the transformational aspects of Sufism and the magic branch of that tradition.

Alexandra is a seer whose first memories of this are as a crawling infant. She has been practicing magic since her childhood in the southern portion of the United States and Spellcraft for over ten years. She creates her home in Bainbridge Island, WA with her husband, puppy, and black cat familiar, Alcus ~ while traveling and exploring the world often. Alexandra is committed to witches experiencing their power at a deep level, restoring the tradition of magic within families, and empowering those endowed with psychic gifts to embrace them and walk comfortably in the world.
